Interview Process (1 rounds)

Round 1 of 1: Online Assessment

90 min

Question 1

Medium
What aptitude questions were included in the assessment?

Experience

The section had 15 multiple-choice questions in 20 minutes. It emphasized logical reasoning and puzzles rather than conventional calculation topics such as percentages, ratios, time and work, or profit and loss. The focus was quick, accurate thinking under time pressure.

Question 2

Medium
What computer science fundamentals were tested?

Experience

The section had 25 multiple-choice questions in 25 minutes and was described as moderately difficult. Useful topics included computer networks, especially Stop-and-Wait ARQ, object-oriented programming, databases, and operating systems. Some items required debugging snippets for logical or syntax errors.

Question 3

Medium
Given N cakes and M people, determine the minimum cuts needed to divide the cakes equally among everyone.

Experience

Example: N = 2 and M = 6 gives 4 cuts by dividing each cake into 3 equal pieces, using 2 cuts per cake. Constraints: 1 <= N, M <= 1000. No candidate solution or performance was reported.

Question 4

Medium
Given an array of positive integers, concatenate each adjacent pair and return the smallest concatenated number; if the array length is odd, treat the final element alone.

Experience

Example array [15, 24, 34, 10, 12, 21, 45, 67] produces pair values 1524, 3410, 1221, and 4567, so the minimum is 1221. Constraints: 1 <= arr.size() <= 100000 and 1 <= arr[i] <= 10000. No candidate solution or performance was reported.
